Many of our surgeries are now equipped
with digital sensors which further reduce the already tiny
and safe doses of x-radiation used in the diagnosis of
dental disease. There is also an added efficiency in the
images being instantly available on our patients' computer
records. Intra-oral cameras are locatied in some surgeries
and in hygienist rooms - these can provide patients with
graphic images of concerns that the dental team have with
their mouths and also act as valuable educational tools. |
